SKIN REJUVINATION BY IPL

The aim of this treatment is to rejuvinate the condition of the skin of the face and neck to remove signs of aging and fatigue. Living in the hot sun of Spain causes premature aging which results in wrinkles, loss of elasticity and dry lifeless skin. For some clients the use of overly harsh products as a result of having skin problems such as acne during adolescence or in our twenties can also cause a premature aging of the skin.

HOW DOES THIS TREATMENT WORK?
From the age of 25 onwards, our rate of natural collagen productionslows down. Consequently the skin gradually starts to age. The intense pulsed light energy causes a localised trauma to a layer of cells in the skin ( fibroblast cells). As a result of this ¨shock¨ the skin¨s reaction is to produce more collagen and elastin fibres hence tensing and improving the condition of the skin. As such we can considerably reduce the signs of aging of the face and neck. The skin is smoother and tighter and any enlarged pores reduced in size.
